Borealis

Borealis is a dynamic and super fun improv group that uses music as its source of inspiration.

While many improv teams ask for a word to inspire their show, Borealis asks for a song. When they take the stage, music is randomly shuffling in the background. When an audience member hears a song they think would make a good suggestion, they say, “Stop,” and that song continues to play. That’s when the group mind of Borealis begins to deconstruct and interpret the song physically and emotionally. The team often uses organic edits and movements to create their show. And they always make sure to have a good time.
